CHENNAI: The ruling AIADMK party adopted 25 resolutions during its executive committee meeting on Saturday. Most of the resolutions hailed the Chief Minister and party president J Jayalalithaa for implementing various welfare schemes. It also urged the Centre to allot additional power, withdraw hike in oil prices, prevent Kerala from constructing a new dam across Mullaiperiyar, allot additional quantity of fertilisers to the State and to notify the final verdict of Cauvery Tribunal in the Union gazette. The committee also demanded the Centre to scrap the prevention of Communal Violence Bill.
