HYDERABAD: With last-minute problems like errors in names, damaged passports and other seeing reported frequently, police have listed out a few tips to avoid problems in acquiring a new passport.Police have listed out several people who can be approached for speedy verification of passport applications. In majority of cases, police verification is completed within 20 days after receipt of the personal particular forms (PPF) from the Regional Passport Office. Citizens can also submit their applications at the passport applications receipt centre in Police Verification Cell between 2 p.m and 8 p.m (from Monday to Saturday, except second Saturday), located near the Prasad's I-Max on Necklace road.
