PUDUCHERRY: Puducherry Congress MP P Kannan on Thursday lauded AIADMK chief and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa for her effective, all-round administration.“Despite being a Congressman, I am appreciating Amma,” he said at a press conference on Thursday.Quoting her direction to the police to put down criminals with an iron hand, he appreciated her firm stance and urged the UT to emulate her. Kannan also lauded Jayalalithaa’s manner of handling the cyclone relief and rehabilitation measures.“The way she has handled cyclone relief and how her government has delivered to the people, shows that this is the kind of government that people require,” he said.
