HYDERABAD: A woman, along with her two daughters, has allegedly committed suicide by jumping into an agricultural well in Ranga Reddy district due to family and financial problems. The incident took place at Anampally in Ranga Reddy district on Friday. Vikarabad police said, the woman, K Laxmi (35), was married to Narayana, and the couple have four daughters. Narayana is suffering from physical disability and could not do any work. Laxmi was the sole breadwinner of the family.Five months ago, the couple performed the marriage of their eldest daughter, Swapna, which pushed them into debts to the tune of `1.50 lakh. Police said, the family could not celebrate the Dasara festival and the parents could not buy new clothes for the children. Police suspect this might have drove Laxmi to depression. On Friday afternoon, Laxmi left for their agricultural field along with her two children. As the trio did not return home, Narayana called up Laxmi’s parents who launched a search for them. They found the slippers and other belongings of the trio near the well and Laxmi’s body floating in the water. Police retrieved the bodies from water and sent them for autopsy.
