Unlike other sweets whose prices have surged due to costly ingredients, the shop strives to keep Butterscotch Sandesh affordable. Here are the ingredients and the recipe to cook Butterscotch Sandesh.
Ingredients
1. Chana.( without water)…225 grams
2. Amul Taza milk ……1.5 litre
3. Powdered Sugar…55gm
4. Butterscotch Bits…25gm
5. Amul fresh cream…25hm
6. Amul butter…10gm
7. Fab oil soluble BUTTERSCOTCH Essence…2…3drop
Procedure
1. First prepare the Butterscotch sauce.
2. On a pan, mix Butterscotch bits, butter and fresh cream and cook on slow fire, till the entire thing comes together. Now, switch off the fire and let it cool down.
3. Grind the chana in a mixer for 10 seconds which will get you a creamy smooth paste. Caution- Don’t grind the mixture for long, otherwise it will be watery.
4. On a nonstick pan, mix powdered sugar and a little chana. Now, cook on slow flame for 1 minute till all the sugar dissolves.
5. Add remaining chana and cook for another 5 minutes stirring continuously.
6. Remove from fire and let it cool down
7. Now mix the Butterscotch sauce to the chana mixture.
8. Add Fab oil soluble Butterscotch essence
9. Mix well and divide the mixture into 7 equal parts.
10. Now, make smooth roundels of it.
