The letters written by Indian soldiers during the World War 1 will be displayed in the exhibition.
New Delhi: As the Indian Army is commemorating 100 years of World War 1, President Pranab Mukherjee will be inaugurating the first of its kind exhibition on Tuesday evening. The exhibition displays 13 operations that the Indian Corps participated in, from the Western Front in France to Mesopotamia and China.
The letters written by Indian soldiers during the World War 1 will be displayed in the exhibition.
As many as 15 lakh volunteers from India participated in the war.
Also on display are wartime weapons, equipment, uniforms and memorabilia.
