Princess Di was amazing, say sons

New Delhi: It has been 10 years since Princess Diana’s death, but her sons still think about her everyday.

In an interview ahead of a concert on July 1 to mark the 10th anniversary of Princess Diana's death, her sons say they want people to focus on good things about their mother.

Britain's Prince William and Prince Harry expressed their fears about the public beginning to think negatively of their mother in an interview with the BBC.

William said, “there is no amount of words" to describe how "amazing" his mother was. He said Diana was a "massive example" to him and his brother.

Harry said Diana was a caring person who put everyone else first. But the brothers said Diana always made them feel like the most important people in her life.

The princes said that they are holding the July 1 tribute concert so that people will remember Diana's positive legacy.

They also hoped that the concert would help restore memories of the good work done by her.

Performers at the show will include Elton John, who revised his song Candle in the Wind in Diana's honour.

The princess died in a Paris car crash in August 1997. The day of the concert would have been her 46th birthday.
