HYDERABAD: With bypolls to 18 Assembly constituencies round the corner, the state government on Monday issued orders for releasing another Rs 14.29 crore to three assembly constituencies -- Rayadurg, Polavaram and Macherla under ‘Special Development Fund for Welfare and Developmental Activities’ scheme.The government, a few days ago, released Rs 30 crore to six Assembly constituencies.On Monday, the planning department issued administrative sanction for an amount of Rs 654.10 lakh for taking up developmental works in Rayadurg constituency in Anantapur district for 2012-13.The works included culverts (Rs 43 lakh), community halls (Rs 27 lakh), compound walls for schools/ panchayat buildings/temples (Rs 18.50 lakh), dhobi ghats (Rs 21.50 lakh), bus shelters (18 lakh), CC roads (Rs 402.60 lakh), drainages (Rs 121 lakh) and protection walls (Rs 2.50 lakh) -- all costing Rs 6.54 crore.The government also sanctioned Rs 2.74 crore for taking up certain development works in Polavaram constituency in West Godavari district , Rs 82 lakh for laying CC Roads in Polavaram mandal, Rs 39.5 lakh for CC Roads in Jeelugimilli mandal.It also sanctioned Rs 5 crore for development works in Macherla constituency in Guntur district.
