Montreal: India's Saurav Ghosal went down in straight games against top seed Spaniard Borja Golan in the semi-final of the Financi-re Banque Nationale Montreal Open squash tournament, here Sunday.
Ghosal lost 3-11 7-11 8-11 on the all-glass court at the Montreal Forum. It was the pair's fifth Tour encounter - and, after 45 minutes, World No.9 Golan recorded his fifth win over the new world No.17 from Kolkata.
"Lost 3-0 to Golan today. He was very good and I wasn't at my best. Will have to learn from this and come back stronger! Disappointed" Ghosal tweeted. Golan admitted that he had to play his best squash to see off Ghosal.
