New Delhi: The Supreme Court has pulled up the MCD Commissioner, A K Nigam and Delhi Police Commissioner, K K Paul, over the sealing issue saying that there is no coordination between the two bodies - the MCD and the police force.
The two were summoned to explain the delay in the resumption of the sealing drive in the Capital.
The SC says it is anguished at the manner in which its orders are not implemented giving an impression that the authorities are not interested in carrying out sealing in Delhi in letter and spirit.
The court has directed the authorities to go ahead with the action against unauthorised commercial establishments without any further hindrance.
According to news agency PTI, after senior lawyer Ranjit Kumar, who is assisting the court as an amicus curiae in the matter, told the Bench that sealing has started pursuance to Tuesday's order, the Bench said, "We expect that sealing would be carried out without any grievance from any quarter."
