The roof of the Shishu Mandir school at Sumgad village collapsed when nearly 26 children were studying, burying all of them under the debris, according to the Disaster Management and Mitigation Centre (DMMC) in Dehra Dun.
A team of police and PAC personnel, which was rushed to the spot to launch rescue and search operation, has failed to reach the site due to landslides on the road, just 7 km away from the spot, they said.
