Second doping case confirmed at Asian Games

The Olympic Council of Asia says a Cambodian soft tennis player has tested positive for a banned stimulant at the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

The OCA said in a statement on Friday that a urine sample taken from Sophany Vi on Sept. 16 tested positive for Sibutramine, three days before the games' opening ceremony.

It said Vi has been disqualified from the games and the findings would be forwarded to Cambodia's national authorities, the World Anti-Doping Agency and the Asian and international soft tennis federations.

Soft tennis uses soft rubber balls instead of standard tennis balls and is a demonstration sport at the Asian Games.

On Wednesday, a football player from Tajikistan tested positive for a banned stimulant in the first doping case at Incheon.
