THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Shashi Tharoor MP on Thursday called on the family of Manikuttan, the crew of ITB Jacksonville, who died in a ship blast off the coast of Nigeria on September 4.He assured the family all help to bring back the body of Manikuttan and keep tabs on developments connected to the investigation into the blast.‘Express’ had reported on Thursday that the Director General of Shipping had asked the Indian High Commission in Lagos to investigate the credentials of the vessel. Mystery over the ship’s status has deepened with official government documents and the ship owner’s statements regarding the status of the ship contradicting each other.
