Siddhartha Lama is back to act in another film on the Tibetan issue under the direction of Lenin Rajendran.

Thiruvananthapuram: After enthralling Malayalam film viewers as little 'Unnikkuttan' in his role as Rimpoche in the 1992 box office hit 'Yodha', Siddhartha Lama is back to act in another film on the Tibetan issue, to be directed by eminent director Lenin Rajendran.

Lama, now 28, has signed for a film by Rajendran, who is working on a movie on the Tibetan issue. Titled 'No Man's Land' in English, the film 'Idavappathi' promises to be one of the noted Indo-Tibetan films.

The alienation and anguish of the Tibetan people who had migrated to India would be the main theme of the film, Lenin Rajendran told PTI.

India had become a second home for the Tibetans and a love story between an Indian girl and a Tibetan monk would be the core topic of the film, he said.

In Yodha, directed by Sangeeth Sivan, Lama plays the role of little Rimpoche being hunted by black magicians. Jagathi Sreekumar, who played a key role in the movie along with protagonist Mohanlal, has also signed for Rajendran's new film.

The film would be shot in Madikeri, Chitradurga and Kathmandu. Siddhartha was excited to get the offer from another Malayalam film, Rajendran said.
