The model-turned-actress will be seen in David Dhawan's upcoming film 'Rascals'.

Mumbai: Model-turned-actress Lisa Haydon, who would be seen in a lead role in David Dhawan's Rascals, has said speaking Hindi was a challenge for her.

Directed by Dhawan, Rascals, is an action-comedy, starring Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Kangana Ranaut besides Lisa.

"Hindi was a challenge for me. It was challenging...Now it is somewhat easy," Lisa told reporters here after the music launch of Rascals.

Lisa, who was born as Elisabeth Marie Haydon to a Malayali father and an Australian mother, has been living in Australia and United States before moving back to India in 2007 to pursue modeling.

She made her film debut in Bollywood flick Aisha in 2010. The movie was loosely based on the Jane Austen novel Emma and its Hollywood adaptation Clueless.

Lisa played the role of a New-York returned corporate yuppie in the flick directed by Rajshree Ojha starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in the lead roles.

Rascals, to be released on October 7, revolves around the story of two competing con men who try to outsmart each other in consistently amusing and surprising setups.

Lisa, who is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, has featured as cover girl for major fashion magazines.
