Jaipur: Jaipur Police have reportedly received intelligence inputs warning of a terror strike during the first One-Day International between India and South Africa on February 21 in the city.

Security has been tightened at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium where the ODI is to be played.

Jaipur's borders with the neighbouring districts have been sealed and the police force put on high alert.

"We have received an input. We are on full alert," said Inspector General OF Police (Jaipur Zone) BL Soni.

"We are making adequate security arrangements especially after the Pune blast. Everyone who comes to watch the match will be frisked. There is no need to worry. We are seeking cooperation from the organisers of the match to secure the stadium," added Soni.

Earlier intelligence agencies had also warned about terrorist groups targeting

Hockey World Cup and the Commonwealth Games to be held in New Delhi.

Pakistan will be sending some officials to Delhi to assess security before the Hockey World Cup.

Australia, England and Canada are also assessing the threat issued by Ilyas Kashmiri, chief of the Pakistan-based Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islam and an Al Qaeda commander. New Zealand for now is not sending its hockey team.

Hockey World Cup is scheduled to be played in New Delhi from February 28 while the Commonwealth Games are scheduled for October 2010.
