BANGALORE: Three students of a city based college drowned in Murdeshwar on Sunday morning at around 8.30.The students Vivek S V (18), Tejash M (20) and Dhinenraju (19), were students of final BBM course.According to the police, seven students had gone to bathe in the sea at 8.15 am.Eyewitnesses said that only two were seen drowning and there were no clues of the third student. Police have registered a missing case and a search is on for them.The students were on a tour since July 21. They had reached Murdeshwar on Sunday. Soon after their arrival, they went into the sea.Sources said the students ignored the warning sign board put up near the sea.Guidance needed for touristsThe entire coastal region, including Murdeshwar has been experiencing heavy rains since the past few days.It is suggested that either tourist guides or police personnel should be posted at the beach to warn tourists.
