Trains cancelled, diverted

MANGALORE: Following the water, mud and slush logging on the Ratnagiri-Nivsar section railway track of Konkan Railway route after heavy rains, the railway department has arranged a trans-shipment from Ratnagiri and Adavli Stations for a train, cancelled two trains and diverted six more. According to a press release issued by the Southern Railway public relations officer, passengers of Lokamanya Tilak- Mangalore Junction train will be transshipped to Mastya Gandha Express. Madagaon-Ernakulam south express and Mangalore Junction- Mumbai CST express have been cancelled. Nizamuddin- Ernakulam South Mangala Express, Hapa to Tirunelveli Express, Lokamanya Tilak- Tiruvananthapuram Netravathi express, Nizamuddin- Ernakulam South Duranto Express, Pune- Ernakulam south express, Ernakulam South- Nizamuddin Mangala Express, trains have been diverted.
