Tsunami funds werent diverted

KOCHI: The state government on Tuesday submitted before the High Court that the fund allotted for Tsunami Rehabilitation Projects (TRPs) were not diverted for other purposes. Additional Chief Secretary Nivedita P Haran filed a report before the High Court on a petition filed by A K Stephen, president of Kerala Matsya Thozhilali Congress, alleging delay in implementing the TRPs. The report include the details of the TRPs executed and the amount spent for each projects from the funds allotted by the Central Government. The entire fund allotted by the Central Government and the ADB has been utilised in accordance with the decision of the high-level committee constituted by the state.
