Vasudevan Ilayath remembered

ANGAMALY: It is unfortunate that scholars like P C Vasudevan Ilayath were not honoured during their period, critic M Leelavathy has said.She was inaugurating the state-level birth centenary celebration of Sanskrit scholar P C Vasudevan Ilayath, organised by Kunhunniraja Academy of Indological Research Centre.Ilayath would have earned at least 10 doctorate degrees for his book 'Krishnageethi' when compared to the theses submitted by the research scholars now, Leelavathy said. Sanskrit University Vice Chancellor J Prasad presented Sahithya Nikasha Award instituted by Vasudevan Ilayath Memorial Trust to Leelavathy.
