Jimin, a popular South Korean singer-songwriter and a member of the globally acclaimed boy band BTS is currently serving his compulsory military service in the Army. He had enlisted last year, on December 12, 2023, along with the youngest BTS member, Jungkook. Now that the duo have already spent a considerable amount of time in training, Jimin has things to say about the nature of their service. In fact, during a recent conversation with his best friend Ha Sung-woon on a call, the idol apologised to him.

According to Sung-woon, the Like Crazy singer has eventually realised how difficult military life can be and is regretting how little he used to check up on his dear friend while he was serving in the Army.

Ha Sung-woon, who is also a popular Korean singer and rapper, a member of the boy group Wanna One, recently gave an interview to GQ Korea for its July 2024 issue. An excerpt from this interview has been circulating on social media, where Sung-woon discussed his friendship with BTS member Jimin. According to the viral excerpt, Sung-woon shared that Jimin sent him a heartfelt message during his military service. He also revealed that Jimin had called him and expressed regret for not checking in more frequently during Sung-woon’s time in service

Recalling their conversation, Sung-woon told GQ Korea, “Once (BTS) Jimin, who was in the military called me and said that he was sorry. I asked him, “Why are you sorry?” and laughed because I knew exactly how he felt. He said, “Hyung, I played too much when you were in the military… I am so sorry that I didn’t call you…” So to that I answered, “Hey, you see? Right? You can now feel how hard it was for me right? But now I’m getting out!”

Take a look at it below:
