These exercises are easy to practise and do not require any additional equipment.

A busy schedule and a sedentary lifestyle can make it difficult to maintain a healthy sex life. While you are at the office working at your desk, you can do a simple set of exercises and improve your sexual health. These exercises are easy to practise and do not require any additional equipment. All you need is a bit of dedication to practise them regularly. These are 5 simple exercises that you can do at your desk to improve your sexual health:

Pelvic Floor Contraction

Sit comfortably, tighten the muscles in your pelvis as if you were trying to stop the flow of urine, hold the position briefly and then release. Pelvic floor contraction can be done in two sets and twice a day. This exercise strengthens the pelvic floor muscles, thereby improving control and endurance.

Kapalbhati Pranayama

Practise the breathing technique known as Kapalbhati Pranayam. To do this, simply sit up straight, take a deep breath, and then exhale quickly through your nostrils while contracting your abdominal muscles. This exercise is a great way to improve blood circulation and reduce stress levels.

Holding urine

According to Dr Chirag Bhandari, founder of the Institute of Andrology and Sexual Health (IASH), another simple but effective exercise to improve sexual health is to hold urine for as long as possible. Holding urine strengthens the pubococcygeus muscle, thus helping in controlling ejaculation. You can do the exercise 2-3 times a day.

Internal and external rotation of thighs

Lift your feet off the floor, sit on the edge of your chair and move your thighs inward and outward. This exercise promotes hip strength and flexibility. In this exercise, you need to do at least 30 repetitions in one set and two to three sets of exercises per day.

Walking

One of the most effective exercises that helps keep you sexually healthy and active is walking. Even if you are in the office and cannot go for long walks, you can simply go for a 5-minute walk or jog near your workplace. Regular walking improves circulation and your overall health.
