Fashion trends are something most celebrities swear by. From the airport, gym to their red carpet looks, each outfit is carefully chosen before making a public appearance. And why not? After all, the photographs clicked will be archived in the virtual space for eternity. So, even though a very few celebs aren't very particular about the way they look, others including our glamourous B-town divas do give it 'some' importance.
The latest trend that has become popular among Bollywood's leading ladies is candy stripes. From Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor to Huma Qureshi, everyone has been embracing this trend at national and international events.
Deepika Padukone
The B-town beauty is sure to charm you with her beauty and style every time she steps out. And the Padmaavat star did exactly as said when she made an appearance at a gala dinner in Mumbai earlier this year where members of the film fraternity were felicitated, wearing a georgette Sabyasachi candy striped saree teamed with a textured full sleeve blouse and an embroidered metallic cuff. She was the epitome of elegance in the attire as she posed for the shutterbugs with a dimpled smile on her face.

Recently, Deepika sported candy striped yet again, only this time at Cannes Film Festival, where she turned up as the brand ambassador for L'Oreal. She flaunted her toned body in a candy striped, pleated dress which she paired with a matching skirt, courtesy Tome NYC. The dress featured a batwing top with dramatic sleeves and plunging neckline.

Sonam Kapoor
Bollywood's very own fashionista Sonam Kapoor was spotted slaying it in a candy-striped ensemble from New-Zealand-based designer Emilia Wickstead’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival.
Sonam looked cute in the shirt-style, full sleeve dress which featured an embroidered collar and a matching waist belt. The actress teamed with the attire with minimal makeup and accessories and a neat center-parted hair tied in a ponytail.

Huma Qureshi
A Mother of Pearl red and white candy striped co-ord set was how actress Huma Qureshi served up glamour on her last day at the Cannes Film Festival held earlier this year. An interesting hairdo, statement accessories and minimal makeup is how the diva rounded off her look.
