Outdoor workouts need a new workout apparel too.

Spring is now upon us, and if you're thinking of taking your workout outdoors, you'll need some new kit to do it in.

Here we round up the latest collections for golfers, surfers, and runners, that offer not only this season's new shapes and color palettes but also the latest high sports technology to give your workout a boost this spring.

Golf

KJUS has released its SS17 female golf collection, which once again, focusing on the brand's five technical concerns, is offering products that are waterproof, windproof, insulated, lightweight, and breathable.

A particular highlight of the new collection is the Women Dextra 2.5L Jacket, with a stretchable, breathable fabric that weighs in at less than 3 golf balls, making it the lightest golf jacket on the market, while the Women Retention Jacket uses a 3D-stretch material from Japan for lightweight insulation.

As well as new technology, the range also includes some new bold colorways, with rich purples, deep blues and vivid reds that can be mixed and matched together and worn both on the course and in the club house.

Surf and swim

Surf and swimwear brand Hurley has launched its new 2017 women's collection, created in collaboration with three-time Women's World Tour champion surfer Carissa Moore to "redefine high-performance swimwear."

As Moore requested a swimsuit that would stay put even in the roughest of waves, the three styles of tops and bottoms -- each offering different levels of coverage and support -- feature strategically placed straps to keep everything in place, as well as lightweight and removable waterproof bra cups and stabilizers to help secure and support the bust. The bottoms include un-adjustable straps around the hips and contoured cuts for a secure and comfortable fit.

With Moore also requesting lightweight pieces that wouldn't weigh her down in the water, each piece has also been created with quick-dry fabric and keyhole cutouts in the tops to drain the water out quickly.

Running

Adidas's UltraBOOST collection has received an important update for the new season, a new version of its iconic UltraBOOST X shoe designed especially for female runners.

After the sports giant carried out extensive research into the exact points where female runners need the most support and room for natural expansion, the new UltraBOOST X was born, offering a more tailored fit for the unique shape of the female foot and suitable support for the female running gait. And as with other shoes in the range, the shoe features adidas's BOOST technology to deliver a high energy return to runners to help them go even further.

The UltraBOOST X shoe has also launched alongside a new season range of running apparel.
