Watch: Why This Indian MasterChef Australia Contestant Made Everyone Cry

Just like everyone from the Masterchef family, Nidhi Mahajan's elimination from Masterchef Australia Season 8 left us overwhelmed too. Not only did she impress the judges with her cooking skills but also left everyone teary-eyed when she left the show.

While everybody went on to speak good words about the ever-smiling girl, Nidhi did something which proved that her heart is oh-so-desi! Just when the judges were sharing their thoughts about the elimination and that she'd missed, Nidhi asked if she could touch their feet as a mark of gratitude. She said, ""Can I touch your feet out of respect? Because this is our culture. The people whom you think as your teachers, you bow them in respect."

Till date, we've seen 5 Indian contestants on the show who've impressed the judges and viewers alike. But Nidhi's gesture will be remembered for years to come. Not only did she touch their feet, but our hearts too!
