Actor Ajith Kumar is eagerly anticipating the release of his film Good Bad Ugly written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran. This enthusiasm is amped up by the reports that Ajith is playing a triple role in this film. Now, there is another update regarding the movie.
As per the reports, OTT platform Netflix has acquired the digital rights of the film for Rs 95 crore. As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding these reports. The cast of Good Bad Ugly, a pan-India film has not been finalised yet.
Fans are eagerly looking forward to Good Bad Ugly because it marks his return to a triple role after a long gap of 18 years. Earlier, Ajith was seen in a triple role in the director KS Ravikumar’s Varalaaru in 2006. In the action-drama film, he essayed the role of a father and his two identical sons. His impeccable acting skills in the movie earned him the prestigious Tamil Nadu State Award for acting. Varalaaru was a massive hit and emerged as the highest grosser of the year. Later, the movie was remade as Godfather in Kannada, Nat Khat Mhar Tae Tite Pwal in Burma and Tu Mo Dehara Chhai in Odia.
Good Bad Ugly is billed to be an intense action thriller. National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for this film. Abinandhan Ramanujam has handled the cinematography, while Vijay Velukutty has handled the editing. Naveen Yerneni has produced this film under the banner of Mythri Movie.
Apart from Good Bad Ugly, Ajith Kumar is also busy with another upcoming project VidaaMuyarchi. Magizh Thirumeni has directed this project touted to be an action thriller. It is his first project with the Thunivu star. Alongside Ajith, the film also features Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra and other prominent actors in key roles. Lyca Productions is producing the project, with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music.
Ajith has been married to the former actress, Shalini for 24 years. They have two children- a daughter named Anoushka and a son Adhvik. The two fell in love with each other during the shoot of the movie Amarkalam, which turned out to be a hit.
