Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was seen for the first time since she and Virat Kohli welcomed their son, Akaay. In a picture shared by Royal Challengers Bengaluru star Faf du Plessis, Anushka stepped out to celebrate her birthday with him and her cricketer husband, Virat Kohli. The actress rang in her 36th birthday on May 1, Wednesday. The cricketers revealed Anushka was in Bengaluru on her birthday and hosted an intimate party.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Virat Kohli shared a picture of a menu with Anushka’s name on it. “Celebrating Anushka,” read the cover. Sharing the picture, Virat wrote, “Thank you, (Chef) Manu Chandra for an unbelievable dining experience the other night. Hands down one of the best food experiences of our lives.” Meanwhile, Faf du Plessis shared a picture in which Anushka was seen cuddled up to Virat as she posed with their friends.
The picture revealed that couple was dining at Lupa, a high-scale restaurant in Bengaluru. The chef also shared a picture with Anushka.
On Anushka’s birthday, Virat shared a bundle of cute photos of his wife on his Instagram handle and penned an emotional note dedicating his love for her. The note read, “I would have been completely lost if I didn’t find you. Happy birthday, my love. You are the light in our world. We love you so much.” He also added a bundle of red heart emojis.
Virat and Anushka met for the first time to shoot an advertisement for a shampoo brand in 2013, and the sparks flew instantly. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2017 in Tuscany, Italy. In 2021, they welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Vamika.
In a statement earlier this year, Anushka and Virat announced the arrival of their second child. “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on February 15, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world!” Anushka and Virat announced.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka Sharma will next be seen in Chakda Xpress. Chakda Xpress is a biopic on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie also marks her comeback to film after almost 4 years. She was last seen in Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The upcoming sports drama will be released on Netflix soon.
