Bridgerton Season 3 Teases Penelope And Colin’s Budding Romance

As the 2-minute 47-second trailer plays, it shows Penelope Featherington looking for a husband; only to encounter her long-time crush Colin Bridgerton, who promises to help her find a husband.

However, their simple yet extraordinary agreement takes a different turn as the two start to develop feelings for each other. Penelope continues to remain determined to find someone who will give her the freedom to continue her double life as the infamous gossip writer Lady Whistledown, away from the eyes of her mother and sisters.

While Penelope finally catches the eye of Lord Debling (played by Sam Phillips), it is Colin who starts to feel deeply unsettled and questions his real feelings about his friend. He reaches out to his mother asking, “Mother, do you believe the best foundation for love is friendship?"

The trailer finally ends with an impromptu moment between the two.
