There are very few Kannada films that are released directly on OTT. If the films are released in theatres and become a hit, they take time to release on streaming platforms. One of actress Chaitra Achar-starrer films, Happy Birthday To Me, is releasing directly on OTT. The premiere date of the film has already been announced. Happy Birthday To Me will stream on OTT, starting June 28. Chaitra Achar also shared a poster of it on her social media handle. Taking to Instagram, she shared a film poster along with the caption, “It’s is going to be one Fun-tastic journey for you all while watching this as it was for us while making it!!! Hoping to see you all enjoy this soon….”
Chaitra Achar looks different in the poster of Happy Birthday To Me. She dons a quirky hairstyle with fringes and looks like a schoolgirl. The poster also features other cast members in the film. The film also stars Sidhaartha Maadhyamika, Siddu Moolimani, and Gopala Krishna Deshpande.
Happy Birthday To Me is directed by Rakesh Kadri. He has also written the story and screenplay for the film. Vishnu Prasad has done the camerawork. Vinay Shankar has given music for the film. The film is produced by Shoolin Films and edited by Rahul Vasishta.
The film team has already claimed that it will be a world digital premiere. Other than the poster, nothing more about the film has been revealed. According to the poster, the film is set to stream on Airtel Xstream, Hungama Play, Vodafone TV, JustWatch, Watcho and Tata Play Binge on June 28.
Chaithra J Achar is a Kannada cinema actress. Born in Bangalore, she made her acting debut in the Kannada film Mahira. She is known for several films, like Gilky, Taledanda and AaDrushya. She is also playing an important role in Dhananjay-starrer Uttarakaanda. She had two releases in 2023, namely Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side-B alongside Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth and Toby with Raj B Shetty under Hemanth Rao.
