Geared up for the release of the film Lucky Baskhar, Dulquer Salmaan is busy on a promotional spree. Recently, the actor sat down for an interview and revealed the health issues he had faced during the shoot of Lucky Baskhar which later compelled him to take a break from work. Dulquer Salmaan was speaking to TV9, when he informed that the shoot of Lucky Baskhar got delayed because of his health. He shared, “I don’t like gaps. This year, I was supposed to do a couple of films. One got cancelled and one didn’t work out at the last minute. Then, I had health issues. We (Lucky Baskhar team) had delays because of that.”
Highlighting the support of the film’s team during his tough time, Dulquer Salmaan recalled, “My producer, director and everyone were so supportive. Once when we were shooting and if I was in some kind of pain, they’d say ‘Sir, we’ll stop now. Don’t do this. Go home and take some time off. We’ll come back and shoot.”
Dulquer Salmaan is all praises for the makers of Lucky Bhaskar. “A huge set was erected for Lucky Baskhar. If I insisted on continuing the shoot, they’d say that they don’t want to see me in pain. They were so supportive,” he continued.
Dulquer Salmaan announced his return after a short hiatus through an Instagram post. Exuding charm in a green T-shirt and black trousers, the actor is seen smiling, posing for an endearing click. “After a long hiatus, I am back,” read his caption. Also teasing the release date of Lucky Baskhar, he added, “Lucky Baskhar on October 31,” in the side note.
Speaking of Lucky Baskhar, the drama thriller also features Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ayesha Khan, Hyper Aadi and P Sai Kumar in pivotal roles. Written and directed by Venky Atluri, the film is scheduled for a Diwali release. It is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinema. Next, Dulquer Salmaan also has the multilingual film Kaantha in his kitty. The film will see him star alongside Rana Daggubati and Bhagyashri Borse.
