Garudan First Look: Soori And Unni Mukundan Shine In Durai Senthilkumar's Film

The makers of Garudan have released the much-anticipated first-look poster and a video of Soori Muthuchamy’s upcoming film. The movie features Sasikumar and Unni Mukundan in lead roles and is directed by Durai Senthilkumar, known for his successful films like Pattas, Kodi, and Ethir Neechal. Actor Soori Muthuchamy on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared a sneak peek into his upcoming movie. The caption in his post read, “Get ready for a soaring adventure! The pulse-pounding Glimpse of Garudan is here!” along with a link to the video. Fans are eagerly anticipating the film, with many expressing their excitement in the comments. One user praised Soori’s acting, stating, “Performance-oriented acting. Best wishes Soori bro!” Another user wished the team luck, saying, “Vetrimaaran story. All the best!”

The video released by the makers is set in a secluded desert-like location. The name Garudan, when translated to English, means an eagle, symbolising keen eyes, vigilance, and keeping a lookout for enemies. In the Vetrimaaran-written film, the scene features Soori chasing a man while a black dog chases a flying disc, potentially symbolizing loyalty.

In a previous interview, director Durai Senthilkumar revealed that Garudan is a rural action film centred around themes of loyalty, trust, and faith. The character is inspired by a real-life person, although the narrative itself is entirely fictional.

Soori Muthuchamy is not only gearing up for Garudan but also has other exciting projects in the pipeline. He is set to star in the second instalment of Vidhuthalai, titled Viduthalai: Part 2, and is collaborating with Nandha KV for the movie Badava, produced by John Peter. Fans are eagerly awaiting updates on another project titled Kottukkaali, directed by PS Vinothraj and backed by actor Sivakarthikeyan.

The release of the first look and glimpse video has created a buzz, and fans are eagerly anticipating the theatrical release of Garudan.
