Govinda BREAKS Silence on Attending Krushna's Sister Arti's Wedding: 'I Pray to God for Her Wellbeing'

Actor Govinda has finally spoken out about attending his niece Arti Singh’s wedding reception in Mumbai on Thursday evening. Fans were surprised when Govinda joined Arti’s wedding celebrations as he’s been in a feud with her elder brother, actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek, for the past eight years. Govinda looked dapper in black-coloured bandhgala as he greeted the paps with folded hands at Arti’s wedding.

Talking to the media about the wedding, Govinda told Instant Bollywood, “Ishvar se praarthana hai, jo kripa Arti par hui hai kisi prakaar ka vastu dosh na lage (I pray for her wellbeing and may god protect her from evil eyes).” Arti tied the knot with Navi Mumbai-based businessman Dipak Chauhan in the presence of their family members and close friends. She looked stunning in a red bridal lehenga, while her husband complemented the actress in white-coloured sherwani.

Arti and Dipak also made the first public appearance as newlyweds as they stepped out to pose for the paparazzi stationed outside the reception venue. Arti held her husband close as the couple posed for the shutterbugs. Arti greeted the paps with folded hands and thanked them for being part of her wedding celebrations. Several celebs including Kapil Sharma, Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover, Sunil Grover, Devoleena, Yuvika Chaudhary and Archana Puran Singh, among others attended Arti’s wedding reception.

Arti and Dipak hosted a grand Sangeet ceremony on Wednesday and several TV celebrities including Ankita Lokhande and husband Vicky Jain, Mahira Sharma, Yuvika Chaudhary and Bharti Singh among others, attended the function. Multiple videos from the ceremony surfaced on social media, and fans couldn’t stop drooling over Arti’s pre-wedding festivities.

Ahead of the wedding, Arti’s sister-in-law, Kashmera Shah, took to social media to pen a sweet note for her. Kashmera wrote, “We will always be your family @artisingh5 and we welcome @dipakchauhan09. Remember to tell him I am very possessive about everyone I love and you are a huge part of my life. All the best for your new life and journey. Your brother @krushna30 and I are always here with you, now and forever.”
