Actor Sonam Kapoor celebrated her 39th birthday on June 9 and received blessings and good wishes from loved ones.
Born in 1985 in Mumbai’s Chembur, Sonam decided to pursue a career in the Hindi film industry just like her father, veteran actor Anil Kapoor. She made her Bollywood debut with ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2007 film ‘Saawariya’, opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Over the years, Sonam has appeared in a variety of movies and gained immense popularity among her fans and followers all over the world.
According to media reports, Sonam Kapoor’s net worth is Rs 115 crore, while the ‘Neerja’ fame actor earns around Rs 12 crore in a year. Apart from her acting career, Sonam also earns well from brand endorsements, besides owning a few properties worth crores.
As far as her personal life is concerned, Sonam has been married to fashion entrepreneur Anand Ahuja, a multi-millionaire, since 2018. Anand runs a fashion label named Bhane and also owns the multi-brand sneaker store, VegNonVeg. As per reports by Activenoon.com, his net worth is estimated to be $500 million (Rs 4,000 crore). Anand’s expensive assets also include his house in Delhi, which is priced at a whopping Rs 173 crore. He also owns a house in London.
Earlier on her birthday, Anand shared a photograph of the Bollywood diva blowing out the candles and extended his heartfelt wishes to her.
In another picture, he captured her holding their son and wrote, “To another year of everything you want and more.”
A third one featured the actress with Anand’s brother, Anant Ahuja.
On Sonam’s birthday, many B-Town celebrities extended their heartfelt greetings to the actor. Taking to Instagram, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a nostalgic picture with a note that read, “Happy Birthday darling Sonam. Love you and wish you all the happiness.”
Actor Swara Bhasker, who worked with Sonam in ‘Raanjhanaa’, posted a picture of them together and wrote a heartfelt birthday wish. “Happy happy birthday to this golden girl who still has the greatest laugh ever! All my love Sonam Kapoor. Miss you, Mamma,” Swara said.
Besides them, other celebs like Rakul Preet Singh, Karisma Kapoor, Arpita Mehta, Shanaya Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, Huma Qureshi, Maheep Kapoor, and Anshula Kapoor, among others, also wished Sonam on her birthday.
On the work front, the actress is next gearing up to appear in the upcoming project ‘Battle for Bittora’, produced by Rhea Kapoor.
