Veteran actor and Member of Parliament Hema Malini paid a visit to Ayodhya’s newly-built Ram Temple on Friday, February 16. She spoke to the media after her visit and said that a lot of people have gained employment due to the construction of the temple. She also praised the arrangements made at the temple.
Speaking to ANI, Hema said, “Darshan hua humara. Hum Bambai se aaye hain aur humara yahan karyakram hai. Sab kuch dekha, bohot sundar hai. Very beautiful. Bohot accha arrangement sab hai (We had a visit. We have come from Bombay for an event. We saw everything and it was very beautiful. All the arrangements are well-made).”

She added, “Bohot accha development ho raha hai. Ek mandir ki vajah se kitne logo ko yahan pe job milta hai, naukri milta hai. Bohot kuch failta hai. City ka kaam badhta hai aur city ka infrastructre bhi badh raha hai. Aur aamdani bhi badhegi. Voh yahan rehne wale ke liye bhi bohot acchi baat hai (There is good development. So many people are getting jobs because of one temple. The city also gets popular and there is the betterment of infrastructure. Per capita income will also increase which is good for the residents of the city).”
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram’s idol at the temple took place on January 22, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several Bollywood celebrities attended the event including Kangana Ranaut, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Randeep Hooda, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan among others. Prominent singers like Sonu Nigam and Malini Awasthi also performed at the ceremony.
