In First Poster Of Viduthalai Part 2, Vijay Sethupathi And Manju Warrier Steal The Show

Makers have unveiled the first-look posters of the director Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai Part 2 on Instagram. Going by the first look, it is evident that the storyline will revolve around Vijay Sethupathi and Manju Warrier’s characters. Viduthalai Part 2’s poster, the sequel to Vetrimaaran’s 2023 Viduthalai Part 1, shows Vijay’s character Perumal standing in the field, with his cycle alongside. Manju’s character, dressed in a green saree with a red blouse, smiles as she stands close to Perumal. “Step into the world of #ViduthalaiPart2, where Vaathiyar’s love unfolds. Directed by the master #VetriMaaran. An Ilaiyaraaja musical”, the poster’s caption reads. The poster also informs that the film is in the final stage of completion.

Social media users loved the poster and expressed hope for another hit from Vijay Sethupathi after his film Maharaja recently became a hit. However, a user criticised the makers for including everyone’s name in Viduthalai Part 2’s poster except actress Manju Warrier.

Vijay Sethupathi had unveiled another poster from the film on Twitter. This poster sees a bloodied Maharaja actor screaming in the middle of the fields with a machete in his hand.

Viduthalai Part 2, which will also be released in Telugu as Vidudala Part 2, will see Vijay Sethupathi reunite with his Maharaja co-star Anurag Kashyap. Ilaiyaraaja is scoring the film’s music. This film is expected to hit theatres at the end of the year. Viduthalai Part 2 stars Soori, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Rajiv Menon, Bhavani Sre, Chethan Cheenu and others in important roles. As per the reports, Viduthalai’s sequel is geared to focus more on Vijay Sethupathi’s character Perumal’s story.

Soori, Bhavani Sre, Rajeev Menon, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Chethan will reprise their roles. Viduthalai Part 2 is the second of a two-part adaptation of writer Jeyamohan’s short story Thunaivan. Vetrimaaran and Elfred Kumar produce it.

Viduthalai was supposed to be one film but was divided into two parts in 2022 due to its length. Both parts were filmed back-to-back but the sequel still has some scenes left to be wrapped up.
