Indian Idol 12: Danish Khan’s Powerful Performance Makes Neha Kakkar Emotional

Indian Idol season 12 has caught a momentum. The contestants on the singing reality show are giving their best in order to impress the judges and the audience. The recent one to steal everyone’s hearts with the soulful singing was Danish Khan. The talented singer performed the song Deva Shree Ganesha from the filmAgneepath along with another melody, Ishaqbaazi. This left the judge and singerNeha Kakkar in tears.

She was unable to control her emotions after Danish sang the popular song with enthusiasm. “I am a believer of God and I think whatever I have achieved in my life, I have a lot to thank God for,"she told him. Singer Atul, of music composer duo Ajay-Atul, was also present here and was impressed with this performance. He handed him his chain with a Ganesha pendant as a blessing.

Danish expressed his gratitude for this gesture and voiced that he has a lot to achieve from that very moment. He added that he performed this song at jagratas as the song set a positive pace for the rest of the duration.

It can be easily seen that Danish isone of the charmers of the show. In a recent episode, he even impressed veteran actress and star of an era, Hema Malini. He performed on the songs Dream Girl and Tere Chehre Mein Jaadu Hai. When he requested Hema to dance with him, she obliged and even said that his amazing performance brought her on stage.

On the other hand, there were rumours that the reality show would soon go off-air due to the dipping ratings. It was speculated that the show would be replaced by Super Dancer Chapter 4. However, it has been now confirmed by singer and mentor Himesh Reshammiya that the show will continue to air in a new time slot.
