Sriimurali, also known as Murali, is a prominent face in the Kannada film industry. He is currently making headlines for his upcoming film, Bagheera. Viewers were eagerly waiting for more updates on the film. Meanwhile, according to the latest update, the shooting of Bagheera wrapped up a few days ago.
In a recent media interview, the film’s hero, Sriimurali and director, Dr. Suri, shared that they are feeling relaxed as the shooting has been completed. “It feels like a mission has been completed, just waiting for the final accomplishment and working towards release,” says director Dr. Suri.
He also added that he returned to the director’s chair after a hiatus since his last 2012 film, Lucky. Bagheera is an important film for him, as the story has been penned by KGF director Prashanth Neel, with dialogue and screenplay by Dr. Suri himself.
The film is backed by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. As per reports, Bagheera is an action-suspense drama. The film was made in Kannada and will be distributed in several languages this year. Currently, it is in the post-production stage and the makers will soon lock in the release date for Bagheera.
Apart from Sriimurali, the upcoming film also stars Rukmini Vasanth in her first collaboration with Sriimurali. The film also stars Achyuth Kumar, Rangayana Raghu, Prakash Raj and others in prominent roles.
The music for the film is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, while the cinematography is handled by AJ Shetty.
Actor Sriimurali also shared his experience working on the film. The actor said the shooting experience was a roller coaster ride, with numerous challenges and experiences. “I don’t remember the number of injuries I endured during the film’s shoot. Equally important are the number of schedules, locations and action sequences. Wrapping up, I felt like I was just out of a fantasy world.”
Sriimurali was last seen in the film Madhagaja, directed by S. Mahesh Kumar. The action-romance received mixed reviews from the masses. The film revolves around the story of a cop who ventures into the world of an underworld don, compromising his security. Madhagaja also starred Ashika Ranganath, Jagapathi Abu and Chikkanna in important roles.
