Amid separation rumours surrounding her, actress Jennifer Lopez appeared on the popular late-night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live. The diva looked glamorous as she sat in a halter neck, off-white gown and a pair of sparkly golden earrings. She had her hair tied in a ponytail. On being asked about her favourite action movie, she thinks for some time and says, “I really like, do you guys remember that movie? The old movie, True Lies?" To which, Jimmy immediately replies, “O yeah." She goes on to name the star of the movie, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Arnold and Jamie Lee Curtis.
“To me, the movie has a perfect balance. This movie is a little bit like humour, seriousness, great action and kind of a nice little heart at the center of the movie," Lopez explains. To this, Jimmy replies, “Netflix loves doing these movies with you because I think The Mother was the number one Netflix movie of 2023. Shotgun Wedding was in the top three for 2023. I really think it is something about you and that people love seeing you."
Jennifer laughs at it and says that audiences like to see her doing action. “They like to see you do sexy things and action," Kimmel adds. Their humorous banter ends with Jennifer saying, “yeah, I could do that."
During her appearance, Jennifer Lopez also briefly mentioned her husband, Ben Affleck. She shared a story about the time she met Barbra Streisand. The actress recalled that Streisand commented on the engagement ring Affleck had given her “years ago." Streisand had remarked on the ring, saying, “So that’s a big diamond." Lopez agreed, responding, “And I’m like, ‘Yes, it is.'"
These comments came amid speculation about Lopez and Affleck’s marriage. Reports suggested they were facing marital issues. However, they were seen together in public on May 16 for the first time since March 30, and on May 19, they were also spotted wearing their wedding rings, writes Page Six.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck do not share any children. Affleck, who was previously married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018, has three children with her: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
