The popular television show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) hosted by veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is presently in its 16th season. The actor continues to host the show with the same enthusiasm, engaging in conversations with each contestant sitting on the hot seat, listening to their stories, and sharing some of his own experiences. Numerous inspiring stories have emerged from the show. In a recent episode, Amitabh Bachchan fulfilled the wish of a farmer.
The Ganpati special episode of KBC featured a 50-year-old farmer named Mukund Narayan More from the Dharashiv District of Maharashtra. Mukund has been a farmer for many years. While speaking in the show, he expressed his willingness to practice modern farming. After sitting on the hot seat, Mukund gifted Amitabh Bachchan the first yield from his farm to honour the great actor.
While handing over the gift Mukund said, “We are farmers, and we offer our first harvest to God. You are like a god to me,” when translated to English. Responding to it, Amitabh Bachchan emotionally said, “There is so much to learn from you. Farmers are simple people, but you all have a big heart.”
Mukund also shared that he is a big fan of singer Kumar Sanu and often listens to his songs while working in the fields. Amitabh Bachchan was touched by his admiration for the legendary singer and decided to give a special gift to the farmer. The actor organised a special video call with Kumar Sanu to fulfil the wish of the farmer.
As soon as the video call with Kumar Sani started, Mukund was overwhelmed with joy. The singer expressed his joy saying, “We live and sing because of the food you harvest. You do great work, and I am lucky to have you as my fan,” when translated to English. The singer also dedicated a song to Mukund.
While talking about his farming he mentioned that he aims to use technology to its fullest to boost his yearly yields and overcome the struggles in life.
