Vi Anand’s directorial Ooru Peru Bhairavakona is all set to hit the silver screens on February 16. Touted to be a fantasy thriller, the Telugu film is penned by Bhanu Bogavarapu. Produced by Razesh Danda and co-produced by Balaji Gutta, the film is presented by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainments. The cast includes Sundeep Kishan, Kavya Thapar, Varsha Bollamma, Vennela Kishore and Harsha Chemudu.
Now, ahead of the film release, the cast and crew of Ooru Peru Bhairavakona visited Tirumala Srivari temple. Lead actors Sundeep Kishan and Varsha were among those who offered prayers. Following their visit, Vedic scholars blessed the film crew at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
Temple priests offered tirtha prasad to Srivari and presented him with silk as a mark of honour. Sundeep Kishan expressed his feelings outside the temple, stressing that visiting Sri Venkateswara is possible only by his grace. He underlined the importance of Bhairavakona for the entire film team and thanked the audience for their consistent support since the start of his acting journey. Kishan also expressed hope for ongoing faith and backing from his fans.
After facing several setbacks, the film is expected to be a game-changer. Its songs have already garnered a positive reception from the audience, further heightening anticipation. Similarly, for Varsha, the film’s leading actress, Bhairavakona carries significant importance.
The film Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, initially scheduled for February 9, will now premiere on February 16, 2024. But premieres will be available from February 14.
Director VI Anand described Ooru Peru Bhairavakona as a movie that mixes fantasy with real-life situations. He highlighted the difficulty of filming mostly at night, which posed challenges in capturing natural lighting. Anand commended Sundeep Kishan for his portrayal of Basava Lingam, a character with intricate depth. Essentially, the film explores the clash between love and hatred.
Shekar Chandra composed the soundtrack and film score for Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, while Aditya Music acquired the music rights. The album’s first track, Nijame Ne Chebutunna was released on March 31, 2023, followed by the second track, Humma Humma, on December 27, 2023.
Sundeep Kishan is best known for films including Maayavan, Captain Miller, Gundello Godari, and Maanagaram. The actor has a few films in the pipeline including D50, Maayaone, and Naragasooran.
