One of the most highly-anticipated releases in South cinema, Thalapathy 69, has been in the news for months. Updates regarding the project’s cast and crew always created a lot of buzz among the fans. Going by the new reports, this prominent actress has hinted at joining the superstar actor in the project. Here are all the details related to the reports.
If the reports are true, South actress Manju Warrier will join the cast of the film. The actress recently gave an interview to S S Music, where she reminisced about working with filmmaker H Vinoth, who is also set to direct the project. According to the actress who worked with the director on Thunivu, she was promised another film by him. He reportedly told her, “I will give you another film to act well.” The interview has given birth to a lot of speculations and rumours surrounding its cast.
Nothing has been confirmed by the actress or the filmmakers on the matter, yet. As per earlier reports, Director H Vinoth will helm the film and the project is expected to go on floors in October. More reports call the release a political action drama, while most information is still under wraps.
Manju Varrier is currently busy with the promotions of her next, Vettaiyan, set to release on October 10, on the occasion of Dussehra. Helmed by T J Gnanavel, the cast includes names like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubatti and many others. The film is being produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner of Lyca Productions. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while the cinematographer is S R Kathir. On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay is appearing in The Greatest Of All Time, which was released earlier this month. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film has collected over Rs 400 crore at the box office. It is produced under the banner of AGS Entertainment.
