On Wedding Anniversary, Kannada Actor Ganesh's Hilarious Post To Wish His Wife Shilpa

Kannada actor Ganesh is one of the most sought-after stars in the entertainment industry. The actor’s onscreen persona coupled with versatility in acting performances has made him a fan favourite. Hailed as a romantic hero, the actor enjoys a significant fan following among female fans. However, in real life, he is apparently different. Ganesh, who is married to Shilpa, a renowned producer, is a dedicated husband. The couple has been married for sixteen years now. Recently, the actor dropped an adorable post to wish her wife on the occasion of their wedding anniversary.

Ganesh took an unusual approach to wish his wife Shilpa on their 16th wedding anniversary. Dropping a selfie of Shilpa on her Instagram handle, Ganesh quipped, “Marriage is a workshop, where the husband works and wife shops. Happy Anniversary Wifey. Keep Shopping.” The hilarious post signifies the love and friendship the duo shares with each other.

For those unversed, Ganesh and Shilpa left everyone shocked when they got married two days before the scheduled date. The sudden wedding invited reactions from fans who were disheartened for not being updated about the real date. Ganesh, in response, clarified he and Shilpa chose to marry each other in a hurry due to increased pressure from fans.

Ever since their wedding in 2008, Ganesh and Shilpa have been serving major couple goals through their social media presence and the efforts they put into making each other feel special. However, the actor, unlike his films, is not romantic in real life. In an interview with the Cine Express a few years back, Ganesh revealed, “In real life though, I am completely different. My wife (Shilpa) often complains that to the world, I am a romantic hero, but off-screen, I am not.”

Ganesh and Shilpa are blessed with two children- a daughter Charithriya and a son Vihann. The family is leading a happy and contented life with the actor enjoying a successful career in the Kannada film industry. He was last seen in the film Baanadariyalli.
