Ramayan Actor Sunil Lahri Unable To Get Accommodation In Ayodhya

Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 22. Numerous Bollywood celebrities such as Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar and Randeep Hooda, among others, have been invited to the ceremony. The lead actors of Ramanand Sagar’s superhit show Ramayan– Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia, who played the roles of Lord Ram and Sita, also received the invitation card for the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony. To this, the actor Sunil Lahri, who played the role of Laxman, expressed his disappointment over not getting the invitation which he later received from the authorities.

Now, the trio is seen roaming the streets of Ayodhya ahead of their visit to Ram Mandir and an album release. During his visit, Sunil Lahri complained about having all the hotels booked and said that he had no place to stay.

The video of the trio visiting Ayodhya has gone viral now. Earlier, it was believed that all three artists had reached Ayodhya due to the inauguration of Ram temple. However, the early arrival of the trio is due to the shooting of a bhajan. While talking to Aaj Tak, Lahri admitted that they will be shooting a bhajan in Ayodhya, which is expected to be released on January 22.

He added that they stayed in Ayodhya for three days and shot their scenes on the streets of the city. “Looking at the atmosphere in Ayodhya these days, it does not seem as if it is a city, because we had gone there for a shoot 2 years ago also. The city has changed a lot. The winds here have a strange energy. The entire city is absorbed in religion,” said Sunil Lahri while sharing his experience. He further said that from the roadside shops to houses, everything has been painted in the colours of devotion.

Sunil Lahri has also received an invite for the inauguration of Ram temple in Ayodhya. He said, “‘I have received the invitation, but the only problem is that I am not able to get a room in the hotel there.” He added that almost all the hotels are booked and there is no room available there. He further said that his flight was confirmed but not his accommodation.
