Rhea Kapoor Can’t Keep Calm As Crew Song Naina Plays At London Airport

Rhea Kapoor has been receiving love for her last production venture Crew. The film featured Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu in the lead roles. Apart from the engaging storyline and impeccable cast, the film earned global attention for its song Naina. The party number by Diljit Dosanjh has transcended boundaries as it gets played at Heathrow Airport in London. How do we know? Rhea has posted a video on Instagram Stories. In the clip, we can see a glimpse of the London airport as the song Naina plays in the background.

Sharing the video, Rhea Kapoor wrote, “When they play your song at Heathrow.” She further tagged rapper Badshah and Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh in the clip. FYI, the song has been sung by Diljit and Badshah joined him for a rap segment.

Well, the song has an interesting anecdote attached to it. As revealed by Diljit Dosanjh in a podcast with Raj Shamani, Rhea Kapoor pursued him for a year to create the song. As Diljit struggled with the creation of Hindi songs, a constant follow-up by the producer led him to compose the now-viral track. The Punjabi singer divulged, “It’s not like I am singing Hindi songs and the whole of India is listening to me. I always spoke Punjabi, but due to Hindi films, I started talking in Hindi.”

Crediting Rhea Kapoor for Naina, Diljit Dosanjh added, “I told her I could not make songs for Bollywood; I didn’t know how to do it, but she pursued me for a year. That time I was working on an album and she would ask me every 10 days where was the song. It was she who made that song through me.”

Rhea Kapoor was in London for a family getaway with husband Karan Boolani, sister Sonam Kapoor, and brother-in-law Anand Ahuja. Both Sonam and Rhea had an exhilarating time at a Taylor Swift concert which they attended along with their husbands. A video was also shared by Karan capturing the joyous moments as they all enjoyed the concert to the fullest. The highlight of the clip? The Kapoor sisters screamed their hearts out and sang along as Taylor performed her most popular songs.
