Shahid Kapoor SURPRISES Fans During A Screening Of Teri Baaton Main Aisa Uljha Jiya; Video Goes Viral

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya was released earlier this month. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is a romantic drama which revolves around Shahid, who introduces Kriti to his family, who are unaware of the fact that the lady he has fallen in love with, is a robot. The film saw a spike in box office collections on Valentine’s Day and more and more people have been thronging to cinema halls ever since then. Amid this, a viral video has surfaced where Shahid Kapoor surprised fans at a movie theatre.

In a video that was shared by the popular paparazzo handle Viral Bhayani, Shahid Kapoor secretly entered an auditorium where the screening of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya was underway. Seeing the actor amid them, the crowd couldn’t hold their excitement as they all cheered and expressed their joy. The video captured fans rushing to take selfies with Shahid and Shahid interacting with fans. The actor also asked whether everyone was liking the film.

Directed by debut directors Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film has a runtime of 143.15 minutes, or 2 hours, 23 minutes, and 15 seconds. It has been granted U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Bollywood Hungama recently reported that CBFC cut a scene where the characters are intimate, making it 25% shorter. They removed 9 seconds, reducing the original 36-second sequence to 27 seconds. Besides this, the CBFC also changed the word ‘Daru’ to ‘Drink’ in the second half of the film.

As per News18 Showsha’s review, Shahid and Kriti delivered impressive performances. “Shahid shares a scintillating onscreen chemistry with Kriti. So – and filmmakers, please take note – it would be interesting to see the duo in a regular new-age love story with no preachy message, a genre that we all have been yearning for a while now,” the review read.

Recently, Kriti Sanon has teased the film might have a sequel. On the microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, a fan asked Kriti, “When can we expect part 2 #TBMAUJ?” The actress replied, “With All the love pouring in, I’m sure Amit & Aradhana (writers & directors) are compelled to write Part 2 soooonnnn! ❤️.”
