The priest who performed the pre-wedding rituals of Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding was mobbed outside Shatrughan Sinha’s house, Ramayan. In a video shared on Instagram, the priest was seen struggling to take his vehicle out because the paparazzi surrounded him and bombarded him with questions. Overwhelmed by the attention, the priest tried to leave the spot as soon as possible.

In the video shared by Voompla, the priest was asked various questions about the wedding. However, the priest replied he is not allowed to share any information about the wedding yet. “Abhi kuch nahi bata sakte,” he told the paparazzi. He added that the pre-wedding puja was performed successfully and that he would join the family on Sunday, June 23, for the wedding ceremony. Watch the video below:

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are getting married after dating for seven years. The actress’ father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha was upset that she had not kept him informed about her wedding plans. But he eventually gave her his blessings.

“Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted,” he told Times Now before adding, “Koi wand nahi hai. Yeh sab hota hi hai har shaadi main. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, it doesn’t mean Sonakshi can’t have what she wants in life. Hum log bohot maza karenge June 23 ko.”

“It is the wedding reception that we are all attending on the evening of June 23,” he said. “No one from my family said anything about a wedding. Some media outlets have just been presuming things. Too much attention is being given to something that is a private family matter,” Shatrughan added.

Sonakshi and Zaheer will get married on Sunday. On Sunday evening, the couple is hosting a wedding party in Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant, Bastian. The list of invitees includes Salman Khan, Honey Singh, the cast of Heeramandi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Daisy Shah and Poonam Dhillon among others.
