Today marks the birthday of Sushmita Sen’s elder daughter, Renee Sen. The actress celebrated the special day by reflecting on her journey as a proud mother and cherishing the moments spent with her children. Sushmita shared a heartfelt video featuring a mix of old and recent photographs of Renee, her younger daughter Alisah Sen and herself. The video beautifully encapsulates their journey together, with Sushmita declaring that Renee is “truly a gift from God.”
In one of the pictures, Sushmita clutched baby Renee close to her while they were being photographed for a magazine cover. Another photo shows Renee smiling as she receives a cuddle from her mother. In one of the snaps, Alisah and Renee posed together dressed in white. Sushmita also shared several photos and videos of Renee from some of their trips together. In one clip, Renee was seen enjoying the sea, while in another, the mother-daughter duo posed inside a car.
Along with the video compilation, Sushmita wrote, “Happyyyyy Birthday my first love Renee Sen… And my love at first sight!!!…This song will forever play in my heart…carrying you…humming along…waiting ever so impatiently, for you to call me “Maa”…I thank God, for gifted me YOU!!! Beyond precious you remain!!! Sooooo sooooo proud of you & all your accomplishments…and it’s only just begun!!!…. I love you Shona!!!”
Last month, Sushmita Sen also celebrated her younger daughter Alisah’s birthday. The actress wrote a sweet note to her daughter describing her as the “love of her life”.
She wrote, “Happyyyyy 15th Birthday Shona Alisah Sen. Here’s to you…God’s greatest gift & the love of my life!! I LOVE YOU!!!!” Sushmita Sen shared a collection of photos. The post included nostalgic images of Alisah as a child, enjoying moments with her mother, as well as a snapshot of Alisah savouring a delicious meal. There were also pictures of Sushmita with both Alisah and Renee, capturing their cherished family moments.
Sushmita Sen last appeared in the third installment of Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi’s action thriller series, Aarya. The series follows the life of Aarya Sareen (Sushmita), who joins a mafia organisation to protect her family and avenge her husband’s death. The show also features Sikandar Kher, Vikas Kumar, Virti Vaghani, Viren Vazirani, Angad Khan, Ankur Bhatia, Maya Sarao and Vishwajeet Pradhan. Most recently, the actress made an appearance on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast, Chapter 2.
