The upcoming Tamil film GOAT – The Greatest of All Time – is currently in the final stages of post-production. It promises to be a visual experience like no other. The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and has Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role.
Meanwhile, this much-awaited film has created a lot of excitement in the industry. Producer Archana Kalpathi recently confirmed on her Instagram story that the post-production work is in full swing.
The makers of GOAT have now signed their satellite partner and the satellite rights have been sold at a hefty price. GOAT will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages and the film will also be dubbed in Malayalam and Kannada languages via satellite.
The makers have sealed the satellite rights for all languages with a national television partner and the satellite rights for Vijay’s next film have been sold for Rs 93 crore, according to a report by Indiaglitz Tamil.
According to producer Archana Kalpathi, the VFX work for the film has just begun, in an impressive collaboration with the team behind the groundbreaking visual effects of Avatar. This partnership underlines the film’s high-budget fantasy theme and hints at a visual spectacle that will redefine Indian cinema. The decision to rope in a VFX team from Hollywood has already created excitement among the audience.
The film is said to feature numerous VFX sequences. It promises to take viewers to a world where imagination knows no bounds. The film also has a star-studded cast featuring Meenakshi Chaudhary as Thalapathy Vijay’s love interest, alongside veteran actors like Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Yogibabu, VTV Ganesh, Ajmal Amir, Mic Mohan, Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajay Raj and Aravind Akash.
A few days ago, the filmmakers released an official poster revealing the film’s release date. The new poster features Vijay in a salt-and-pepper style and wearing glasses that give him a nerdy look. It also shows a bomb blast in a country that looks like Europe and a passport with lots of visa stamps hinting at the different locations of the film. The poster also reveals the release date, September 5.
