Shock, controversies and immense love are the three things that have always been a part of HBO’s eight-season-long, beloved drama, Game Of Thrones (GOT). Now, the same is the case with the House of the Dragon series which is the ongoing spin-off of GOT. Fans know that the series, much like its Game of Thrones, doesn’t shy away from showing us the grittier, bloodier sides of its story. Yet, even with this high threshold for shock and awe, the latest episode of House of the Dragon has prompted a wave of anger among its fanbase. This time, however, the controversy isn’t about a noble’s betrayal or a dragon’s fiery wrath.
In the recent episode, a scene has left many fans feeling furious. During a scene, a character reportedly kicked his loyal little dog. The animal is shown crying in pain and it has left the audience feeling outraged. For many House of the Dragon fans, this turned out to be a step too far, reports Camicbook.
Fans of the show took to social media to express their discontent. One user on X (formerly known as Twitter) expressed their frustration saying, “You can’t kick a dog and expect to live mate… Not in a TV show these days.”
