Sonam Kapoor is the ultimate fashion diva of Bollywood but before she reached that space she was very much like a regular teenager at Indian weddings and a recent Instagram post is here to prove it.

In a throwback post shared by fashion blogger Amit Maurya on their Instagram page called Fashioneeya, teenager Sonam is seen in pink ethnic wear, with no makeup but aglittering bindi on her forehead, a maang tikka, and some lip gloss. In another picture Sonam is seen having an interesting conversation with her aunt Maheep Kapoor who is all decked up in a white lehenga and jewellery.

Daughter of Bollywood’s ‘jhakaas’ actor Anil Kapoor, Sonam has certainly had a dramatic glow up. The 34-year-old actor has made a mark in both acting and haute couture with her talent. Sonam’s red carpet appearances at Cannes Film Festival over the years have been praised as she experiments with her looks and expresses her love for high-end fashion. Sonam even closed the show for the London-based couture house Ralph & Russo at Paris Couture Week in 2017 as she wore an elaborate crystal-encrusted bridal gown. Ralph & Russo even designed her pristine white custom tuxedo with a train that she wore in 2019.

These days Sonam also promotes her husband Anand Ahuja’s clothing brand called Bhaane. Sonam served a stunning look that could inspire many young ladies looking for a perfect date night outfit. Wearing a vintage black velvet dress by Bhaane, Sonam showed off her perfect date night outfit in this Instagram post from January.

Sonam Kapoor recently wrapped the shooting for her upcoming movie Blind in Glasgow. The movie is a remake of a South Korean movie by the same name and also stars Purab Kohli. Shome Makhija will be making his directorial debut with Blind. He has previously worked with filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh as an associate director on several films, including Badla which was also set in Glasgow.
